Parent Resources: Movement Against Starndardized Testing Growing

Parents,

This is an interesting article from www.educationnews.org regarding the movement against standardized testing.  This movement is particularly gaining ground in Texas.  Outrage over the STAAR test is gaining ground and some law makers and looking for alternatives.

I will personally be attending a meeting next week in Austin with policy makers on Texas education law. 

It sure would be great if our public schools could focus on what really matters, their students.
