I think it was a happy ending because at the end it was talking about how they were close to a village and that there was music and that they would go to the village and live not die.
ReplyDeleteI thought the author did a great jobon the book but i thought the ending was left up to you so i didnt like the ending
ReplyDeleteI liked the ending because I felt that Louis Lowry made it happy. :) If she was going to lead the whole book up to that part why would she make them die at the end? It wouldn't make sense! So I liked the book...... even though I'm sure Bria didn't.
ReplyDeleteI think it was suppose to be a sad ending because they were in the snow freezing and they are nearly dead from starvation and they are super cold. I did not like the book that much.
ReplyDeleteDo you think Jonas felt freedom from the society was worth it, if they they died at the end?
ReplyDeleteI think the ending was supposed to be happy even though i like sad endings and I hope they just ended up in elsewhere because that would be awesome because i felt bad that they had to live in such a strict society
DeleteI think Jonas would have been happier being free and dying with Gabriel than living in the community filled with lies and no emotions.
DeleteI hated it
